On splendid wings, did they fly.
Over mountains and oceans they did glide.
"Keep in the middle," the father did cry.
But the sun's warmth the boy could not deny.
Poor Icarus, too young did die.
And Daedulus, losing his only child.
And so this lesson, one cannot deny.
Humility, or else be destroyed by your pride.
